Description:

Amazon is hiring a Senior FinOps Analyst for its Global Account Receivables (GAR) team in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for finance professionals who have experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), collections, customer account management, and finance operations.

As part of Amazon's Finance and Global Business Services organization, you will work directly with customers to resolve billing issues, manage outstanding payments, reconcile accounts, and support collection activities. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different business functions.

Role Summary:

As a Senior FinOps Analyst, you will manage customer accounts, follow up on overdue payments, resolve billing disputes, and ensure account records remain accurate and up to date. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to delivering a better customer experience.

This role offers excellent exposure to global finance operations, customer relationship management, and accounts receivable processes within one of the world's largest organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support accounts receivable and collections activities.
• Follow up with customers through emails and phone calls for outstanding payments.
• Resolve billing-related issues and customer payment queries.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and aging reports.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Billing, Legal, Tax, and Customer Service teams.
• Monitor high-risk accounts and escalate issues when necessary.
• Improve customer experience by resolving disputes efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes.
• Meet monthly productivity and collection targets.
• Ensure accurate application of credits, collections, and account adjustments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Finance Operations.
• Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and billing processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
